Terms
The agreement between Markindex and the businesses that use it: what you give the co-op, what you get, and what each of us is responsible for.
Last updated 27 October 2026
1. Who the agreement is with
These terms are an agreement between Mighty Mini Apps, C.F. Møllers Allé 97, 2. tv, 2300 København S, Denmark, company registration number 42411027 (“Markindex”, “we”), and the business you use Markindex for (“you”). By creating a user, you accept them for yourself and for that business, and you confirm that you may do so.
Markindex is for businesses and the people who work for them. You must be at least 18.
2. What Markindex is
Markindex is a data co-op for marketers. Members connect their ad accounts, and together those accounts form an anonymous index. Your AI assistant can search the index, and the web app shows where you stand against the market.
- It only reads. Markindex never changes anything in your ad accounts.
- It is information, not advice. What you do with an answer is your decision.
- It depends on the ad platforms. Markindex reads Meta through Meta's own interface. When Meta changes it or stops it, a part of Markindex may stop working until we have adapted.
3. Your user and your business
- Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at hello@markindex.io if you think someone else has used your user.
- The admins of a business decide who has access to it. Everyone with access can connect and disconnect its ad accounts and use its plan, and the business is responsible for what they do in it.
- Give us an email address that works. We use it for what the service needs, such as a code to sign in with, a link to choose a new password, or an invitation.
4. Connecting ad accounts
- Only connect what you may share. By connecting an ad account or a pixel, you confirm that the business it belongs to agrees to it being part of Markindex on these terms. A freelancer or an agency connecting a client's ad account must have the client's permission.
- You choose which ones. Only the ad accounts and pixels you pick are pulled, and you can disconnect any of them at any time.
- Follow Meta's terms. Your use of Meta stays under Meta's own terms.
5. The co-op
- What you give. On the Free and Standard plans, you let us put an anonymous copy of the data we pull from your ad accounts into the index, and use it to answer other members and to draw the web app's pages, for as long as the ad account is connected. What is taken out to keep it anonymous is described in the privacy policy.
- What you get. Your assistant can search the whole index, within your plan.
- What we promise. We never tell anyone which business an ad account in the index belongs to, we never say who is doing well, and we never sell data.
- When you leave. When an ad account is disconnected, what we pulled from it is deleted at once, from the index too, and it is gone from our backups within 30 days. Answers already given cannot be taken back.
- Private plan. A business on the Private plan is kept out of the index, and its data is not used in anyone else's answers.
You keep every right to your own data. We own Markindex itself: the software, the fixed list, the way the index is made, and the index as a whole.
6. Using the index fairly
The index only works if everyone in it can trust it. You and your assistant must not:
- try to find out which business, person or brand is behind an ad account in the index, or combine the index with other data to do so;
- copy the index, or large parts of it, to build or feed another product;
- sell or share access to Markindex outside your business;
- get around the limits of your plan, the sign-in, or the protections around the index;
- put a load on Markindex that slows it down for others, such as automated bulk searches.
We may pause access that breaks these rules, and close it if it goes on.
7. Your AI assistant
- When you connect an assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, your use of it is under the terms of the company behind it, not these.
- Your assistant writes its own searches and works out its own answers from what Markindex returns. Assistants can be wrong, leave things out or answer differently each time. Check what matters before you rely on it.
- We answer for what Markindex returns, not for what an assistant makes of it.
8. Plans and payment
- The plan belongs to the business, not to the user. The plans and what each includes are on the pricing page.
- Free costs nothing and has a monthly cap on calls from assistants, shared by everyone in the business.
- Paid plans are paid monthly in advance, through Stripe, and renew each month until they are cancelled.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Nothing is paid back for a period that has started. The business then falls back to Free.
- Prices may change. We tell the admins of a paying business at least 30 days before a new price applies to them, and they can cancel before it does.
9. What we provide
We build Markindex to run well and keep it running, but we cannot promise that it never stops, that it is free of errors, or that the index holds accounts like yours. The index grows with its members, so comparisons are broad at first. Markindex is provided as it is, as far as the law allows.
We may change, add or remove features. When we remove something a paying business relies on, we tell its admins in good time.
10. Liability
- Neither of us is liable to the other for lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or other indirect loss.
- Our total liability to a business is limited to what it paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if that is more.
- These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, such as for loss caused on purpose or by gross negligence.
11. Ending the agreement
- You can stop at any time: disconnect your ad accounts, delete the business, or delete your user. What happens to the data is in the privacy policy.
- We may close a user or a business that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. We tell the admins first unless the law, or the safety of the index or other members, stands in the way.
- If we ever close Markindex, we tell every business at least 30 days before, and delete what we have pulled.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When a change matters, we email the admins of every business at least 30 days before it takes effect. Using Markindex after that day means accepting the new terms; if you do not, you can stop as described above.
13. Law and courts
Danish law applies to these terms, and disputes are settled by the Danish courts, unless the law where you are gives you a right to something else.
